Emergency Service
Client: Local Utility Provider
Service Provided: Emergency Temporary Sites/Service
Duration: 14 days
Project Description:In response to severe flooding and storm damage that disrupted natural gas infrastructure, COAXIS Energy provided emergency temporary services at four town border stations. A local utility provider urgently required support, prompting COAXIS to rapidly mobilize resources to restore natural gas service to the affected areas.
Project Highlights:
COAXIS adhered to NFPA 59A and PHMSA CFR 193 standards, connected directly to a PHMSA CFR 192 pipeline, and followed all applicable state, local, and company safety regulations. Equipment and personnel were mobilized on short notice, successfully establishing four temporary service sites within 48 hours. COAXIS reestablished natural gas service to critical local businesses, maintaining services across four sites for 10 days.

Peaking Service
Client: Local Utility Provider
Service Provided: Uninterrupted Peaking for Wastewater Treatment Plant
Duration: 72 hours
Project Description:
COAXIS Energy collaborated with a local utility provider to deliver continuous peaking services during critical maintenance at a wastewater treatment plant. This ensured uninterrupted operations while essential utility revisions and upgrades were carried out.
Project Highlights:
COAXIS adhered to PHMSA CFR 193 and NFPA 59A standards, following all applicable state and local safety regulations. The project was completed within the designated 72-hour window, achieving zero service interruptions and maintaining full compliance with safety metrics and industry standards.
Feed Mill
Off-Grid Services
Site Layout Design, Construction, LNG Supply Contract

Project Description:
The LNG facility was installed for a new cooperative feed mill and replacement of the existing propane tank used for the facility's grain dryer. LNG is vaporized at a peak rate of 75,000 SCFH and used for the primary fuel source to run two 500/HP boilers which operate the feed mill and gain facilities grain dryer.
Project Highlights:
The site was designed to meet PHMSA 49 CFR 193 requirements for potential future expansion of the customers' distribution system. The customer required a major design change during construction in which an additional 150’ of vacuum jacketed LNG pipe was installed to move the LNG loadout location. The facility was completed in the required time objective during severe winter weather all while completing 100% of the project safety metrics.
Poultry Farm
Off-Grid Services
Owner, Site Design, Construction, LNG Supply, Operations and Maintenance

Project Description:
Razorback LNG is one of four LNG facilities that were constructed for poultry farms contracted with LPP/Costco. The LNG satellite sites and pipe distribution systems were built to provide the primary natural gas supply for heating twelve poultry broiler farms. Each farm consisted of 12 to 16 individual barns, 600’ long x 60’ wide. LNG is required to provide firm natural gas service, year-round. Razorback LNG provides natural gas supply for five individual farms with 16 barns on each farm.
Project Highlights:
The site initially supplied two poultry farms and was expanded to supply natural gas to five farms. During the expansion, the LNG vaporization was doubled and the LNG storage capacity increased threefold. Both times, construction was completed on time completing 100% of the project's safety metrics.
Municipal Utility
Temporary Peaking Services
Temporary LNG Service, Site Layout Design, Construction, LNG Supply Contract, Annual Tank Cold Shock Commissioning

Project Description:
The LNG facility provides natural gas peaking for the customers' municipal natural gas distribution system. Due to increased demand, the current system was constrained, in which the customer turned to LNG to provide peaking when demand increased during the winter months.
Project Highlights:
The site is designed to meet PHMSA 49 CFR 193 for injecting natural gas into PHMSA 49 CFR 192 regulated pipelines. The customer's short time frame also required construction to be completed during the winter and put into service immediately. The facility was completed in the required time objective during severe winter weather all while completing 100% of the project safety metrics.
Manufacturing
Permanent Peaking Services
Site Layout Design, Commissioning, LNG Supply, Operations & Maintenance

Project Description:
During the construction of a company’s manufacturing plant, the facility knew it would experience natural gas shortages due to constraints from the natural gas utility provider. COAXIS was contracted to provide immediate natural gas service on a multi-year peaking arrangement while an upgraded distribution system is negotiated and completed.
Project Highlights:
The site was commissioned to meet NFPA 59A temporary LNG facility design. The facility was operational in less than one month and installed in the required time objective to support the plant during severe winter weather. The installation was done with 100% of the project safety metrics completed.
